About the Workshop

Teenage athletes have different needs than adults. Understanding your teenager’s needs for macronutrients, micronutrients and fluids can greatly help their performance. However, by focussing on sports nutrition specifically during their teen years, your child can also benefit from reduced injury and illness, improved sleep quality and mental health, optimised body composition and healthy growth, as well as better recovery.

 

During this workshop you’ll discover how your athletic teenager’s nutritional needs are different from adults as well as from their peers’. You will learn about meals and snacks to support your teenage athlete, as well as nutritional strategies to adopt before, during and after exercise.

About Jenny

Nutritionist Jenny Tschiesche works with athletes from club level to Olympians and in a variety of sports disciplines including team sports, athletics, water sports and endurance.  She is a best-selling author, podcaster and is well known for her interactive nutrition workshops. Jenny also regularly contributes to TV and radio shows including Good Morning Britain and BBC Radio and to national newspapers and magazines.
